Perth Cultural Centre – Open Day

From the Perth Cultural Centre Website:

The Perth Cultural Centre will be alive with colour, entertainment and activity on Sunday 30 January when it celebrates ‘O’ Day – a chance to experience the transformed cultural heart of Perth, along with the opening of the State Theatre Centre and the last day of the renowned Peggy Guggenheim exhibition.

Visitors will be treated to a day of entertainment and family fun including rides, face painting, magicians and comedians for the kids, and gourmet coffee, gelato and other foodie delights for mum and dad – in amongst the new walkways, urban orchard and activated areas of the Cultural Centre.

For those in need of a little retail therapy, Made on the Left, a series of fashion stalls will be retailing designs from 20 of Perth’s up-and-coming designers.

The doors of the new State Theatre Complex will be open – giving you a chance to be among the first to walk around the new $91 million state-of-the-art theatre complex.

‘O’ Day will also provide the final opportunity to view the famous Peggy Guggenheim: A Collection in Venice at the Art Gallery of WA before it returns to Europe.”

Looks like a great opportunity to have a peak at the new State Theatre.
